Blackmore's Night is an English band founded in 1997 in UK by the legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (co-founder of Deep Purple and Rainbow), and his mistress, lead vocalist and lyricist Candice Night. The band's style is inspired by Renaissance and Medieval European music, but also occasionally features modern instrumentation.
